I was always confused over who exactly Boers were... all cleared now, tnx!!
There was this one book that went along the newspapers some summers ago by a south-african author- titled "Shame" or... some other translation of that word??? (Wikipedia doesn't have anything)
It was too blah/dramatic for me, as a book, but had a few interesting points between - and 'twas nice to read at least something from that part of the world.
