So there I was, going through the pantry, when I discovered what looked suspiciously like a stove top coffee maker. Having recently re-ignited my coffee addiction, I decided to research the nifty gadget to learn how to make coffee with it. Lo and behold, this wonderful device is called the Moka Express and is a popular way to make coffee in Italy.

I used to have one of those, it made great espresso. Unfortunately, me being absent-minded, had this silly tendency to leave it on the burner for way too long. At one point, the handle melted off, so I got another one. The next one's handle also melted off. At that point, I decided it would be safer just to buy a Mr Coffee Espresso & Cappuccino Maker.

I can imagine. I've resolved to use mine only when I'm guaranteed not to leave the kitchen.
