[It's running down the hall, leaving a trail of feathers in its wake. Every so often it stops, rises up on its long toes and peers through the lock into the room. Finally it reaches the final locked door and it pecks furiously at the lock. The door to Giselle and Even's room pops open and chickens pour out in a living tidal wave into the hallway.

[The chicken whallops it on the back of the head and the heron goes tumbling. It gamely gets to its feet and ruffles its feathers before punching a button on the elevator and waiting.]
