Christmas Eve we host an open house - been doing it for the past way too many years. People drop in any time from 2pm til midnight, and we provide the goodies. It's fun, and people are always glad to get away from their own preparations to party a teeny bit.

Come on down. Everyone is welcome. ;)

Well, some of it was for the work potluck we have next week, but most of it is for Christmas Eve, and believe me it will almost all be gone by Christmas morning, and I'm on a darned diet! Damn.

Yeah, everyone around me is going crazy with the cookie making and I've got one set done. I do have some candies done, they're fast enough I can do a bunch of them some evening. Still, now you have me panicking.

It was, and I've been feeling really nasty for days, although I'm almost okay again. Had a yeast infection thanks to the antibiotics, so my throat and tongue are incredibly sore, and I wish it would hurry up and go away. Talking hurts. Got to get stitches out on Friday and apparently a bone graft.
