If anyone would like a wee ficlet to celebrate the season, post a pairing and a topic here, and I'll get right on it!
I have been running around like a mad thing. Work is kicking my ass this week, and I'm working 12-14 hours a day. My abscesses are going away, and my temperature is down, but I still feel nasty. I've made 6 dozen cookies, 300 cupcakes, a whole bunch of pastries and delectable things and my freezer is full. I've edited the O/F that will be published in January and sent it back twice, so now it's ready. I've cleared out the whole of my conservatory room (48 plants, some of them 7' tall) so I could get ceramic tiles down on the floor and cleaned up the resulting mess. I've written... some. I've made and sent out all the Christmas cards, and wrapped all the presents. I put up the Christmas tree.
Sleep? I remember sleep.
Another 14 hour day tomorrow, and then on Friday the last of my dental appointments. I can't wait for the weekend. I don't intend to do a damned thing.
