You know, for a second, I thought it was Kaito dressed as Shinichi... only because I was wondering if he had turned back already. But then after the kissy-face, NO! It can't be Kaito!!

You have no idea how long I debated over whether or not to put that kiss in there. I was going back and forth about it right up until the minute I posted it and couldn't take it back. It was sort of a "He could either do it right now and have zero regrets, or promise it for when he gets done and comes back so it's an added incentive for his return..."

In the end, went for the gusto ^.~ LOVES!

In the horrifying possibility that I didn't, I want to thank you for such lurvely sweetness for a birthday prezzie. The idea that Shin'ichi would go out of his way to try and meet Ran before heading into danger is very tender. And that Ran's response would prompt him to go and kiss her! Waiii! <3-age to the max, girl!

And again, you're quite welcome, and I'm doubly--triply glad that you liked it!! 8D *giggle* I was torn right up until the moment I posted it as to whether or not I should have that kiss in there. It was sort of a matter of "Do I put the kiss in there, or should it be a 'promise' thing for when he comes back, or...GAH!" In hindsight, I'm glad I went with this :3
