I originally posted this to AB, but it got rejected because it's not specifically about art. They said to post it in fursuit lounge, which has closed memembership. So while I'm waiting to get accepted there, I'm going to post it here for everyone

About this beeing legit? Well, there's one sentence that IMMEDIATELY makes me flinch and delete such stuff, and that's this one:
"I work at an Emmy-award winning production company, and we are producing a one-hour episode of an acclaimed documentary series for a major cable network about furries."
No name of the company, no name of the "acclaimed documentary series", no name of the major cable network. If they would be as big, classy and acclaimed as they say, they could include the name. They must do so, in fact, at least for me. This reads a lot like those scam job-offers like "Huge and popular company looks for workers, call (private mobile number)". If it would be huge and popular they could say what it's called.
My personal opinion? People that want to keep anonymous can do so, but they won't get shit from me.

Yes, it is an actual casting call for the MTV True Life Series. They want fur people 18-20 who have to "come out" to their parents or s/o's about being furry... wtf >.<;

Why should one have to come out to their parents about beeing furry? And since it's MTV, of course it's about sex too. And since it's MTV, they are searching for gay furries with conservative or religious parents so it'll give a desaster. destasters are good for quotas! *foams*

We were all a bit... wary of it. I don't think anybody responded to it, for the same kinds of reasons palemoonsdream said. Too many red flags.
