A crimson night could really become you... MAKKA NA YORU

I've been longing to see live footage of this song ever since i heard it for the first time. Vampy one, i think, and kinda metal too. Let's be dyed in crimson!

lovely song...you know, aside from your translation, i read two other versions of this song and all three had at least a couple of lyrics that had quite a different meaning each time...my point is, translating from japanese can be a bitch sometimes...at least that's what i've always thought ;))
so, otsukare sama deshita^^

Well the lack of pronouns made this song quite open to different interpretations, i think... actually the single form japanese verbs have (i call it "single" 'cause they're the same no matter who or how many the subjects are) is sometimes confusing but still it gives a shade of suspension and, if i may use this word, blurriness to songs lyrics... and i love it.

"blurriness to songs lyrics... and i love it."
well, i guess you could say so, and to be honest, the fact that japanese lyrics can leave much to the translator's interpretation is smth i enjoy too, but only when i'm trying to translate as well...because that's when i personally try to understand them...but when i read 2-3 different versions/interpretations, i can't help wondering which one is more close to the truth and then i go and check the lyrics myself...and i'm thinking that also, for others who read different versions must be a little confusing at some point ^^

That's true...i never considered things under that point of view 'cause i've never really happened to listen to songs whose meaning i couldn't figure out by myself somehow...but it has to be pretty confusing and a little frustrating.
