Good Omens! *Grin*

A little trivia about it that you might find interesting: Terry Pratchet and Neil Gaiman were talking with Hollywood about making a Good Omens movie. They wanted Robin Williams to play Aziraphale, and Johnny Depp to play Crowley. Hollywood said that Robin Williams' career was over, and Johnny Depp doesn't do American movies.

Then Pirates of the Carribean came out.

Unfortunately, plans for the movie were dropped. That would have been an epic movie.

I only recently finished reading the book, and I adored it, even though the ending was a little WTF? A movie would have been fantastic if they kept to the book well enough!

...Johnny Depp and Robin Williams...that would have been epic :D

Forgot to mention this last post. There's a person on Deviantart who does GORGEOUS drawing of Aziraphale and Crowley. She makes Aziraphale look like a BELIEVABLE older gentleman.

I know it's been a long time since I've said hello on your livejournal- forgive me! Life's been pretty busy. But I was I was looking at your fandom list, and I wanted to ask: Have you see Slumdog Millionaire, Ponyo or Star Trek (2009) yet? I know I've asked you about Slumdog before. All are fantastic movies that came out this year. I don't know if I've told you about Star Trek though. If you have doubts about watching Star Trek, I can tell you right now- when my friend invited me and ten other people to go see it last May, another friend and I said, "Nah, we'd rather see Up." Seeing Star Trek was only slightly appealing-I knew nothing about it and I couldn't even tell you the difference between Star Trek and Star Wars.
