and for that, i thank youcandle_beckOctober 22 2005, 05:48:37 UTC
yo, let me for god's sake lend you my sports night dvds. because it is essential. you think zito's fucked up? lemme introduce you to danny rydell.
interestingly, i don't remember my own titles, half the time. the harden/haren? totally forgot what that one was called till keri said it. the names i gave the stories in the memories stick more, so i can tell you that the sugar and sandlot one is 'get lost in the southwest, atom bomb tests, packet sugar.'
don't laugh at my attempt to write a happy ending, man. you know it'll involve huston street. and, like. supernatural events or something.
the run-on sentences kill me. i read them now and i'm just, like, take a fucking breath, jesus. you can have them, though. do better by them than i did.
what the fuck is that pie quote from? it's gonna keep me up tonight.
You know I'd love Mulder-as-a-Cardinal, but I'll understand if you can't. Everytime I read one of your Mulder stories, I just feel like I should apologize endlessly for "taking him away". Maybe we're just taking care of him for awhile, until he can come back home. I wouldn't mind being a vacation spot for him. Ooh ok, that didn't mean to come out dirty.
It's the least I can do. My survival kit for this offseason contains photos of my boys, phone numbers of people I can call for support, video highlights of the year, and printed copies of your work. So, if I make it to next spring, you'll be a major factor in my survival.
Wow, I actually called it Undercurrent in my memories. Well, I called it "I can be fucked up too ... if you need me to be" because that line defines the story for me, but in parentheses I put it as Undercurrent. Which is funny because I think in my head, it was Undercurrents.
you. are a rockstar. and i will do my best. mulder-as-a-cardinal right now is somehow translating as zito-as-a-fuck-up (as EVERYTHING DOES), but i'm pretty sure i'll come round to it.
that line from undercurrent is completely and utterly what i was going for.
lol, well hey, zito-as-a-fuckup is always a good read, too.
If that line was what you were going for, you hit your spot dead-on. I was chatting with some friends over AIM when I was reading that story and I was like "wow you have to read this" and started sharing pieces of it with them, especially the "there was the curve, first of all" and the "I can be fucked up too" bits. Sadly, they're not into slash, but I did get one of them to read one of your stories (Eric Chavez Goes To Hollywood) 'cos I gave her the link and she said she couldn't stop reading it.
P.S. Should I be scared that I've started to pick up Zito mannerisms from your stories in my speech?
