yo. again i need to thank someone whose name i don't know. it's a mystery.
there are possibilities. will i be writing mulder as a cardinal? hmmm.

Self-reflection, huh? Wait a minute, isn't that redundant?
Fanfic. Random trivia.
1. I rushed the end of ‘The Rest of Your Life,’ and it shows.
2. The first thing that comes to mind when I’m trying to describe something is the location and quality of the light.
3. There are things that I have written recently (‘Journeymen,’ and the Harden/Haren, specifically) that I consider some of the best ever.
4. The How-To series bugs me. Pretty much everything I wrote early on (with a few exceptions) bugs me.
5. I used to write Mulder/Scully het when I was thirteen. Ha!
6. Sports Night introduced me to slash.
7. I am as much of a lurker as any of you.
8. The stories I like best are very rarely the ones that are best-received.
9. I am irritated by the small universe of driveways and bars and hotel rooms that has me so fully penned in.
10. The day I escaped from run-on sentences should be a holiday of some kind.
11. Nothing is friends-locked, because 11a) I’m not too worried, 11b) I believe that I can write well enough to keep people from being offended, 11c) my ego is such that everyone needs to read what I’ve got to say, and 11d) see point seven.
12. I have been trying to write a genuinely happy ending for months now.
13. The name of the story is ‘Undercurrent.’ Singular. I have no idea where the rumor that it’s called ‘Undercurrents’ got started, but it’s just not.
14. I think I’d be better if I wrote less.
15. But how can I write less?
