hi! i am 6000 words into the story based on this picture. this picture! can i tell you? it was my twelfth birthday and i was just coming off my first year of beatles mania (you know, hoarding money to get every cd, dragging my ma to the music section at every bookstore, taping 'the beatles anthology' off abc and watching all of it once a week (seriously)), and what did my older bro get me for a birthday present but a poster with THIS PICTURE in the center, and around it individual shots of all four of them taken from twenty years later.

so, yes. i woke up to this every morning, and it pleases me so much that this is what you've chosen to prompt more beatles fic from me. and that it WORKED. i have been trying to write this goddamn story on and off for months now, but you know what i needed? A PICTURE OF GEORGE HARRISON AT FOURTEEN. really, solves all problems.

anyway, thanks! really very many thanks. and keep an eye out; i am circling a landing on this one and i think it might turn out pretty okay.

Hahaha, I am Victorious!! Beatles Fic lies in my future and I couldn't be happier!

I had a feeling this picture would appeal to you! I know it always makes me sigh. They were so young once, its like looking into the marble block that would later become Michelangelo's masterpiece. Also, they're adorable and it makes my inner Beatles Girl squee!

I am so glad I could stir your muses! It's the Young!Paul that always gets me, with his clueless babyface and his leftie bass. I loves him.
