I (ambitiously) selected 3 of these sets of prompts with the idea that I would create 3 divine alternate universes to view Ian and Nikki in a different life. The moment after I asked for those 3 sets of prompts, it crashed down on me: HOLY SHIT! I haven’t written 4 fic in a YEAR and I’m wanting to CREATE 3 whole new universes that will require character development, a beginning, middle, and an end? AM I CRAZY? (Yes, always, but what have I done???)

A panic attack later, I said “Ok. How can we create alternate universes without having to... you know... create them?” I thought about it for a while and then I remembered The Five Things Meme at we_are_numb3rs! Five fantasies Ian has about Nikki. I could answer this using my prompts! Problem was, I needed 2 more sets of prompts... which I obtained JUST after the deadline (God bless sororcula for being understanding about her delinquent friend and her internet issues.) The additional issue was - I would need to write 5 fics now instead of 3... more fics than I’d written in a year. HALP

OK, hon. Let me tell you. The reason it is such a tragedy that you don't get to write more often is that when you do write, it's like this, and it reminds us all of what we're missing.

Your descriptions are just gorgeous. It's like reading a painting. And hot, omg. And I love Ian/Nikki so much and you put them in all these different scenarios yet still made them Ian and Nikki and OMG, I love it all so much!
