More gushing about State of Play and some Who thoughts....

OK so State of Play may well be the most briiliant frikkin' thing I have EVER seen on television (so far as miniseries type things go). I have one more episode to go and I am just blown away at the quality of this stuff. It makes me love John Simm EVEN more and OMG Billy Nighy is a genius, don't you think?? Umm...okay. With the mood I'm in, I confess I haven't read through your whole entry (Will do. Promise. Tomorrow. If I can remember how I got here...even the little airplane bottles of booze can pack a punch, apparently). Now, where was I ---- Oh, yes. Wasn't State of Play a movie a long time ago with Gabriel Byrne (my favorite 60+ year old) and Greta Sachi? All about intrigue and the Byrne character being a reporter uncovering some political corruption and getting blowed up real good at the end? No? Anyway, I think I should go ... home now.

PS: One day, I will go out and find more John Simm to watch. So far, I don't know him from Adam because I've been blissfully ignorant, except that I've been told I'd love "Life on Mars" if I can understand the actors through the accents. Not that it's a bad thing --- for me, he's always going to be "the young, cute Master".

*points to icon* Yes I think you'd love Life on Mars!! And yes to more Simm!!! (Awesome as the Master of course, but also very good in State of Play, Life on Mars, Human Traffic, the Lakes, Miranda, Sex Traffic....)

And yes (lots of yes, haha) to State of Play with Gabriel Byrne (my personal fave 60+ is Alan Rickman), same intrigue and reporter and politics and corruption. Quite good stuff and this cast just really did it for me.

Haha, no need to worry about how you got here love, those airplane bottles really can pack a punch!!!

Well, let me see....I rented it from Blockbuster Online, though they had it on Netflix too....You could also try maybe a site like user dramatic eps, or megaupload perhaps?

Trying to spread the Simm love, haha!

I've been thinking about doing the Netflix thing... this may be a good excuse to start. XD

You have to join to use it, and I don't know if they have State of Play, but they do have plenty of others!

And Netflix, soooo worth it, think of all the Simm!!! (And if I had a hand at all in this new love for him, yay!)

The Youtube stuff I've seen makes me want to see more of State of Play. Mr. Simm looks very fine in the shots I've seen and yes must see it.

As for David Morissey, I could see him as the next Doctor but shit, I don't want to see Tennant go. He is just so...*sigh*, well, he is my Doctor for sure. I hope he doesn't leave too soon.

Oh I know, I soooo am not ready to let Tennant go!!! He is my Doctor too!! Let's hope he does stay for at least the 2009 specials and the fifth season slated for 2010 (wow that seems like so far away).

And yes, you must see State of Play too, I mean Simm and Billy Nighy, it doesn't get better than that! (Well, yeah, if Tennant was in it maybe, haha)
