Ok, so of course I am way behind, I live in America and they are two full weeks behind on airings of my fave show, but hey, I am just happy it airs at all.

It really wasn't, and I think that is the Gwen thing.  I see and feel no chemistry there between Eve and John and well, it feels contrived when they try to put it in there.  For the most part

I agree with everything you've said there... I did like the idea of the episode, but I see the whole Gwen/Jack thing as a little forced (mainly becuase Jack's so keen on Gwen having a life outside the job, why would he then try and break it up? Just cos he's not of "that time" doens't mean he's an arsehole that doens't understand the concept of monogamy *lol*) Still, it was the first ep in a while where Gwen didn't make me want to slap her XD

Now Rhys and Jack, I could go for that! - Now, that's a really funny thought XD I'm loving Rhys more now, first series I was all "Hmm..." about him, but that ep made me all fuzzy inside for him :)

Action!Ianto was definitely the highlight of the ep, taser-happy and hardcore. Much better than angsty!Ianto, really.

It's nice to see the characters "grown up" now, and the continuity between the eps is a lot better, though the flow within the episodes still leaves a bit to be desired sometimes *lol* Hopefully that just means they'll commission a third series and it'll be even better ;)

Yeah, I really hope they go on for a third series as well, I look forward to the show so much now, you know?

Rhys really has become a good character, and I find at times that I am getting mad at Gwen for her treatment of him. I loved that she stood up for him at the end and refused to retcon him, I don't agree that she shouldn't be punished, I mean I think Jack went to easy on her, but I do think that it was the first time I felt like she really cared about Rhys.

I forgot to mention how much I loved the little looks between Jack and Ianto, I remember reading that some people thought Jack almost looked mad, but really I just looked at it like he was listening in and wondering what Ianto was thinking. I really, really hope we get to see some more intimate moments between those two. I have already watched the bits from Adam and Reset and I just love the kiss to the forehead and I want more of it!
