Looking back at 2006 and ahead to 2007
The 2006 sales numbers are in and are up substantially over last year, as in the rest of the world. It was easy to see back at E3 that this was going to be a big year, just from the number of titles (and high-quality ones at that) being shown. Seeming a bit smaller than last year, likely due to the dearth of games for the original Xbox, X'06 was still a good chance to get a look at some titles shipping for the holidays and next spring ( Read more... ) -
PlayStation 2 / PSP Holiday Preview
PlayStation Canada hosted a media preview event this week to show upcoming games for their PS2 and PSP systems. Several third-party publishers were also there, including Buena Vista Games, Capcom, Electronic Arts and Ubisoft. The first annual Canadian Awards for the Electronic and Animated Arts winners were announced and the list of recipients can be viewed here.
A few surprises I think, though all the finalists certainly seemed deserving.
