Oooh, check it. For March 18, 2006, you get TWO entries! Don't you feel special? You can choose between the 6.5 minute partially transcribed voice post or the much shorter written entry about my St. Patty's day shenanigans. Can I just say that it boggles my mind that my alcohol tolerance was once so high that I could drink a coconut rum and coke ( Read more... )

Our cats did that to my mom's boxspring... it's apparently a fairly normal cat activity, lol. We only found out that one of them had done it (who knows which one) when we couldn't find one of them one day and eventually found him INSIDE the friggin' boxspring. ::headdesk::

Desmond put a hole in the thin mesh under our BRAND NEW armchair in the same way. And he didn't even crawl in, oh no, just would stick his head in and look around. Must have been interesting stuff inside the armchair...

Haha yeah, seriously. It's not like there's anything interesting in the box spring! It's a good thing they're cute, huh? :p

Yeah, I drank occasionally my first 3 years of college, but not significant amounts, really. Senior year, though, after I turned 21 and could go out with friends to local drink specials? Yeah, then I was drinking several nights a week, so my tolerance was pretty good by the end of the year. But now, Brad doesn't drink at all, so I only rarely do if I'm out with friends or something (like, I might have a drink every 3 or 4 months, if that), so I have zero tolerance.

Star still climbs in the boxspring. She started when she was a baby and we realized it when Jeff and I lost her all together, not just a collar or something, but the entire kitten. And I'm pretty sure she'll continue doing it until she doesn't fit any more.

Yeah, apparently it's fairly common for cats to do. I think we just got spoiled with Aphrodite, who has never engaged in any of the typical 'bad cat' behaviour, and now Dwyn is making up for that by doing alllllllllllll of it. :p Also, I don't think she will ever not fit in the box spring, because she'd just rip the hole bigger if that were the case.
