Oooh, check it. For March 18, 2006, you get TWO entries! Don't you feel special? You can choose between the 6.5 minute partially transcribed
voice post or the much shorter written
entry about my St. Patty's day shenanigans. Can I just say that it boggles my mind that my alcohol tolerance was once so high that I could drink a coconut rum and coke AND three shots and be totally fine. Now, if I have a Smirnoff Ice or something, I'm all woooooooooo! :p Guess that's what happens when I hardly ever drink anymore.
And in reference to the voice post about grad school interviews and whatnot, I'm just really glad I don't have to deal with that kind of thing anymore. I'm quite grateful that I'm not trying to get into anymore school, and that I already have a job I like and don't have any plans of leaving anytime soon. I was going to say it's nice not to have major life things up in the air like that, but in reality, there ARE major life things up in the air now, they're just different things that don't involve going for interviews. :p
Anyway. OH, let me tell you what our darling kitten managed to do. The other day, she lost her collar somewhere, and we couldn't find it. They're both indoor cats, so I knew it had to be somewhere in the house, but it wasn't in any of the usual spots that her collar comes off. Yesterday after work, I searched top to bottom, looking under furniture, behind things, etc., but couldn't find it. Last night/this morning, though, I figured it out. Turns out that little miss cute face has ripped holes in the underside of our box spring, and must have actually climbed in there, because her collar was resting inside the lining of the box spring. Mmm hmmm. I think I shall now refer to her as kitten, destroyer of worlds.
Okay, going to go knit and watch a show I recorded last Sunday and haven't had a chance to watch yet, then get a shower and go look at a house. Then I get my mixer!! :D Enjoy your Saturday, friends.
