That's awesome that you'll be able to see your favorite band! And with a fellow LJer! I went to a concert with an LJ friend of mine and had so much fun. Yay for meeting LJ friends and hanging out. :D

Thanks! I'm really excited about it. I saw them once in concert maybe 4 or 5 years ago, but I went by myself because I couldn't find someone to go with me. So it'll definitely be good to have a friend come with this time. :)

Haha, really? I honestly can't even tell you how many friends I've met from LJ at this point. There was one year in college where I met 4 or 5 people all right around the same time! I promise I'm not a serial killer or anything. :)

It's a music streaming site - where I go to listen to music I haven't heard before, or choose/create a playlist to listen to.

i feel like you guys JUST moved! whats up with the house that you want to move again?

Nope! When our "lease" is up in April, we'll have been here for 2 years! Which, for me, is actually a pretty long time to have been anywhere. But lots of things - our landlord is pretty unresponsive to concerns, a lot of the construction of the place is just really shoddy, our neighbors are loud and inconsiderate, etc. etc. We're kind of tired of all of it, and we'd like to see if we can find a house to rent for a few years until we're ready to buy our own.

I feel your kitty problems. Currently I cannot get Desmond to stay off of my forearms. Which makes typing rather hard. Plus the fact that he'll occasionally stretch out and tap a key on the keyboard.

But he just jumps up on the desk, looks at me all cutely and starts to purr and I just can't say no :S

Cats... they are secretly conducting some sort of experiment to see just how much we can be manipulated.

Haha, yep! There's so much cool knitting stuff that gets pinned there; I feel like I'll never be able to try it all. Which, you know, is kind of how I feel about all the books I want to read. :p

Hahaha, Dwyn does that too, where she'll sort of lay on my lap, but most of her weight actually ends up being on my forearm. :p But yeah, looking cute is how they get you. And the purring. It's all part of their evil plan.
