Eeeeeeeee!! Just got this email from a good friend: So . . . How do you feel about "Auntie Alia"? :o) And I am SO super psyched for her! She is the first of my close friends to be pregnant, and besides being really happy for her and her husband, I'm also excited that I'll get to kind of experience it second-hand, see what she goes through, what ( Read more... )

How exciting about your friend! I hope she has an easy and eventless pregnancy.

Sounds like you have been busy and that you'll be very busy on your trip! Thankfully in the latter it'll be fun stuff. You deserve it after running around so much!

Me too! It's still early on in the pregnancy, but I am wishing her all the best for the whole thing.

Yeah, fun busy is way better than work/general busy. :)

I think it's a milestone when the first of your close friends has a baby. It's a sign of getting older!

It sounds like you have a busy week planned - I hope you have fun. :)

Yeah, I'm really excited about it. One of my LJ friends had a baby last year, but it wasn't the same because we don't know each other in person and she lives far away. But this is someone I see regularly, and I'm excited that I'll get to be around to see her as she gets bigger and to hear what her experience is like. I do feel a lot more like an adult than I did a few years ago, even, and I'm feeling like I'm more ready to be considering kids myself, so it's really exciting for me to watch one of my friends do it.

Thanks! I think I will; it will be really good to see everyone!
