I think my tetras are doomed. Nothing I try is making them get better. If anything, some of them are worse and probably close to death. I'm ready to give up. Argh, bad news: my bristlenose suckerfish died today. It looks like high nitrates are to blame. I'm annoyed, but it's not difficult to replace and nitrates can be easy to fix. Still, it sucks losing a fish ( Read more... )

More Avengers icons. This batch of 24 are from The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes animated cartoon. This is a show worth checking out if you like comic book / Avengers / Marvel stuff. It's very well written, animated and voice-acted by people who obviously love the Marvel universe.

Today Nick and I saw The Hunger Games. We really enjoyed it. Neither of us has read the books, though I think I'll add it to my reading list. (Along with A Song of Ice and Fire.)
