So it's been a while since I posted. Well six days. I feel like I've accomplished nothing over the last week and I'm not feeling good about that. I like I just feel down in general, though, not really about anything in particular. I want to write. I should write. Well you don't know me but I really just love Gifts More Precious Than Gold. I love the situation you have set up and look forward to seeing where you are going to take the story. I am happy to see that your website has returned since its disappearing act scared me that you may be disappearing. Unfinished fics is common but it is really sad to see happen to good and interesting stories. I hope you don't mind that I am going to friend you. You can friend or not friend me as you see fit I would not be offended if you choose not to. I am looking forward to new chapters on Gifts and take all the time you need to finish them. I understand the demands of RL.

I'm glad to hear you like the story especially since I didn't know what the reception to this fic would be like. It's just a little different than other mpreg fics that I've seen in this fandom.

I was a little worried about my website as well to tell you the truth. My ex lives in Australia, so everything takes longer than expected to complete. But no fear that I'm going anywhere. I've been in one fandom or another since 1995 and I haven't left a story unfinished yet, although once that meant I have to mail the story on disks to a friend in the States for her to post. In 1996 they didn't have internet in northern Canada and I was living up there for the summer with my parents.

I am finishing up chapter 6 tonight and will be sending it to my betas. Let's hope they do a quick turn around.

I friended you as well because I couldn't think of why I shouldn't do it.

Very excited to read Gifts. I just got into Harry/Snape and I was very happy I saw you writing some because I've loved all your SV stories.

Hi, there! You don't know me, but I got recced to your fic and GUH. Gifts More Precious Than Gold has to be one of my favorite HP/SS fics right now. I can't wait for you to post more. Your writing style is very fluid and clean, and you know just when to punch at the heart strings. Delicious.

Diana, I know you! :) I hosted your Smallville story on my website in late 2002, early 2003. I see it's still going strong too. Wow. I'm very glad you like Gifts. I'm hoping to finish chapter 7 ASAP.

Hee, I thought it was you, but I didn't want to be all, "Hi, I know you!" and then you weren't the same Jade :) ::grins:: Now that would have been embarrassing. It's so nice to talk to you though!!! How have you been?

I've been good. I'm living with roommates now and loving it much more than I ever liked living with my husband. Pretty sad, right? But it's been a good year and a bit. Busy, but happy.

Again, I'm glad you like it. I can't wait to right more. This is the first fic I'm written since leaving my husband. And it was hard coming back and getting the motivation again, but I'm glad I did. I feel good about it and I feel that I've learned a lot stuff about myself that is reflecting in the fic.

Damn it, now I have to go write. :)

I still think of Destiny a lot. And I want to write it. I'm just distracted lately. Also, I'm just not as interested in Smallville as I used to be. There's always hope, but I wouldn't expect anything super soon.

Hi! Audrey, aka LadyElaine here. I just discovered Gifts this weekend and was a mite concerned that it hadn't been updated in a while. Please continue it. ASAP. I can be patient but please don't abandon the project. I'm eagerly awaiting Harry's and Hermione's reunion although I excpect it will be quite angsty.

I'm still writing. I was really busy this summer while I took a group of teenage girls to summer camp (much fun had by all). But now I'm back and hoping to write. Every night I get home and I think I'm going to sit down and transcribe from my notebook to the computer, but then I don't. Bad me.

Each chapter is getting longer as I write them and chapter 7 is proving to be the longest of all so far. I'm determined to finish this, it's just taking longer than I had originally expected.

BTW, have you read chapter 6? Harry and Hermione do the reunion thing there. I'm also writing another section between them right now for chapter 7.

No, I haven't seen Chapter 6. Where might I find it? The version at jadesfic.com only goes through Ch. 5.
