basically...harper's a whiner and a hypocrite and he's taking his ball and going home. he'll return with a re-vamped budget come januarary when things have quieted down a bit

It'll be interesting to see how Harper can justify just shutting parliament down for the next 2 months.

Prorogation is an option afforded to the Prime Minister which requires the consent of the Governor General. More often than not, the Governor General gives her blessing
