Prorogue
So, I'm sure by now everyone has heard about the NDP/Liberal Coalition with the Bloc's support. Something that keeps being brought up though is that Harper might prorogue parliament to prevent the coalition from taking over. While I follow politics I'm not all that savvy when it comes to such specific terms (all I can tell is that it means parliament will be put on hold) so I was wondering if anyone could explain to me what exactly proroguing is, and what kind of effects it will have.
