I'm sorry Sofie is having problems with the stairs :( Maybe you could find indoor/outdoor carpet remnants, cut to fit each step and just put that non-skid stuff on the back to 'attach' them?

You may actually get snow up there :oP I've been getting gifts in the mail too! Steve's big one came last week and I had to hoist it to my "craft" room and tell him not to peek!
