So, thanks to a twitter conversation with omg_its_gackt and kira_nari, I now know the real reason why G keeps chasin' them pigeons and squirrels.
Because he uses animals to make his junk look bigger.
Because he got teased as a little kid.

Anyway I just remembered that my favorite 2D animated tv show, Phineas and Ferb, has a song that is just perfect for this occasion.
