Also, you read Jack/Daniel? I'm flattered you gave my first ever non-drabble Jack/Daniel a read. :D THIS WAS SOOOO HARD TO WRITE! I'm used to writing Season 10 Daniel, and getting Jack/Daniel sexyteimz in Season 1 is a huge challenge because Daniel's still married.

I love me some amateur astronomer Jack. :)

I know what you mean, although having Daniel/Vala as my OTP fits so darned easily with Jack/Daniel, Sam/Vala, and pretty much every other pairing or threesome that I don't have to choose I CAN SAIL ALL THE 'SHIPS.

Gotta confess, I'm 'shipping Sam/Jack & Teal'c/Daniel harder after having re-watched Solitudes 20 times to write this.

Thanks! I'm actually not into Whumped!Daniel so much, but I tried to hit as many hurt/comfort beats to fit the prompts as I could. MANLY SNUGGLING FTW.

This story was solidly Gen until I figured out a way to work in the Jack/Daniel angle. LOL WHY DID I CHOOSE SEASON 1? Ha! S1 Jack/Daniel's such a tricky prospect; they've yet to resolve wife issues, and haven't been through death together.

Bravo! I think early-series J/D works best when it focuses on the awkward-because-we-have-feelings-but-there-are-ISSUES sort of thing, and this handles that spot-on without beating everyone over the head with it ;)

Eeee! Thank you so much! The most beautiful thing about Jack/Daniel is their friendship weathering wives, death, disputes & sexual tension. I wanted so much to write post-series Jack/Daniel porn, but the prompts led me elsewhere.
