Wooo! Phibrezo under normal journal, etc.

Wolfram - IN. OH GOD YAY. I am v. v. picky about KKM characterizations, but this? This was Wolfram.

Shounen Bat - Out. Nothing just stood out.

Allen - Out. Likewise.

Mikage - In. I was uneasy for a little while, since Mikage's a very blandly insane character and it's hard to tell sometimes if the post's bland or the character is, but getting strange looks when he talked about his imaginary boyfriend Mamiya won me over, as did "The path before me has been prepared ( ... )

Thanks for the suggestion; it's very helpful- I'm going off the official translations of the manga, so I have no idea how she talks in the original Japanese version. I'll try to keep that in mind in the future, assuming I actually get in this time.

Ah! Yeah, I saw the anime first (and if you can find it for rental or download (try boxtorrents) but watch out because funimation puts two subtitle tracks on - closed caption for the dub and actual subtitle for the japanese - and some people who rip it don't notice and accidentally grab the closed caption for the Japanese I really advise seeing it; they capture the spirit of the manga almost perfectly and the voice acting is incredible and Hanajima's voice acting is incredible in the Japanese language track. Perfect blend of cool distance and phrasing to get her feelings across. The only reason I mention the language style is that, because she does it all the time (in the spoken version, at least; I haven't read the Tokyopop manga closely enough to tell if they did anything like it in the manga translation).... well, because she does it all the time they work it into jokes the Soumas have to deal with it. ie ( ... )

Thanks for the input - I'll definitely use it for a re-app. I see a lot of potential for teh funneh with the zombies, the fact that she looks like a chibi version of Utena, and just general magical girl love wave wackiness. ^^ And the fact that there are actually demons running around the camp. Short ones. :O

I'm just... umm... having trouble realizing my potential! Yeah! That's it! ^_^;;;

MY TURN :D

Wolfram: You had me at "wimp". In.

Shounen Bat: I didn't really think there was enough to judge on. Out.

Allen Walker: I thought it was kinda bland. T_T Out.

Mikage Shouji: Not familiar with the canon at all, but I was amused. In.

Kyo: Not of the fan of the capslock abuse. It can be done correctly, but it went a little overboard this time. Out.

Momoko: I REALLY liked this at first, but the last paragraph kinda killed it for me. Out.

Starfire: A character I'm familiar with! This is pretty IC, I know, but it still seemed to lack a little. Re-app, maybe? Out, for now.

Amelia: See Mikage. ^_- Also, for some reason, reading this made me smell MAYHEM. In.

Hanajima Saki: Psychic fruit = INSTANT AMUSEMENT. (What? It's already been established? Sssh. Don't destroy my dreams.) In.

Serra: I wibbled a LOT. On one hand, some of it was kinda eh, and on the other, some of it was pretty funny. And on the other other, the capslock, but on the other other other, it wasn't THAT bad. In the end, I had to vote on one ( ... )

I'm lazy, so I'll just say that I voted (mostly) the same as you for the same reasons.

Save that I ended up voting Momoko in.

Yup.

I just have to say the Amelia and Wolfram were love. :D

In:
I'll just post the lines that won me over.

Mikage: "The camp consists of trees, animals, and idiots." In.
Momoko: "There weren't any pictures of zombies or crocodiles or tentacle monsters in the brochure!" In.
Amelia: "Journal-san..." Instant win. XD In.
Hanajima: "I think I will also have to learn to put up with being hungry, as the food here is quite... ah... well, let's just say that my mother always told me never to eat anything that gives off waves of its own." In.

As for the Outs...

Serra: I don't see any real difference since last times... and the parts that could've been improved weren't.

Starfire: It seems like a good Starfire, but, it just wasn't very interesting to read. Nothing was really distinctive.

Kyo: Way too... spazzy.

Wolfram: I admit I don't know the canon, but... there was just too much repetition of the word 'wimp' for me to take it seriously.

That's about it. (I hope Hanajima gets in this time. :D)

The "wimp" is canon.

I think. I didn't get past the first ten episodes.

Thirty episodes later and it's still canon. (He's sort of growing out of it. Not by much, but sort of.)

I.... really shouldn't vote right when I wake up in the morning I think ^^;

Only voted 3 in..

Wolfram - Something felt kind of off, I even went so far as to originally vote it out and then changed my mind ten minutes later and went with In, feeling I was being too picky - In.

Shounen Bat - Don't know anything about it, but the post was just... weird ^^; - Out

Allen - I love DGM and while I didn't feel anything was outright ooc here it wasn't amusing and it wasn't individualized - Out.

Mikage Souji - Don't remember him from the anime at ALL, but his post was very long and only almost amused me twice - Out.

Kyo - Doesn't feel like Kyo at all - OutMomoko - I kind of wibbled on this one, but by the end I really wasn't interested at all. She does a lot of side comments, things that are generally meant to amuse, either by being outright funny or by being so DIFFERENT in personality from everything else that the character is saying that it becomes funny. But they really didn't add to it at all, and everything else she was saying wasn't ( ... )

I kid. Mikage was only in one part of the anime and barely in the manga. He was the pink-haired guy in the Black Rose Arc - when Wakaba and Kozue and the others turned evil - and his duel was in episode 23. Not that I'm a geek who has all of this memorized, or anything.

Yeah, I'm realy not surprised I don't remember him ^^; I do VAGUELY recall the Black Roses, but the truth is I didn't care for the Utena anime much. I did rather like the movie so I tend to have better memory of anyone who was in that.

Don't feel bad- if I'm not doing a good job with the character, then I don't deserve to be in the RP, no matter how determined I am. My feelings aren't hurt or anything.
