Trick or Treat

[Today, the mess hall has sprouted a porch -- all the better for trick-or-treaters -- and on this porch sits some statues. There is a fourth gargoyle as well, holding a candy-filled bowl in its outstretched hands]

It's a lesson to stop going for all the terrible fattening sugar-laden foods, I suppose. Who takes candy from a random bowl anyway?

Well, that's not a particular problem, being that sugar itself is banned, but yes-- it's not a terribly subtle approach to offering us terrible things, is it?
