Word is these guys are from a version of my world. If that's right, the guy pullin' a Bobby Fischer is actually Professor Charles Xavier, founder of the X-Men an' the most powerful telepath in the world.

He goes by Magneto--I've never heard his real name, if he's still got one.

He's a terrorist and supremacist who thinks mutants oughta be ruling baseline humanity... He's tried to take over the world a couple dozen times--but maybe not yet, given the timeline wackiness.

More specific than just that... Mutants are people born with powers. Homo sapiens superior--either the next step in human evolution, or genetic freaks an' abominations.

All depends on who you ask.

"Eliminate" is a little too strong a word--I don't know that he's ever been properly genocidal, just convinced that mutants are the future an' should be running the show.

But that's just what I know of him. Different worlds, maybe different M.O.s, y'know?
