[CONTINUATIONS FOR DIGGING AROUND YOUR CHARACTER'S SUBCONSCIOUS SEE LINK FOR EXPLANATION but you guys know what you're doing. Again, ping Elliot on IRC if you have any concerns!]
[ You are standing outside a large home. It looks to be an old home, but it is very well taken care of. There are a lot of plants in the front, also very well taken care of. Someone has obviously put in a lot of work to make sure that this home looks nice and welcoming. The sun is shining very brightly and it is very warm. But not too warm! You don’t want to feel uncomfortable standing outside. The front door to the home looks to be open, but there is a small path to the side that looks as though it will go around the house to the back. ]
[You've just stepped into a grassy meadow. The sun is warm, the breeze is cool, fluffy clouds dot the sky, and you can probably hear running water from a stream nearby. Clumps of flowers can be seen amidst the green of the grass, and you can see a deciduous forest straight ahead of you. It's all very idyllic, isn't it? And yet...]
[if there is something difficult, it's coming into a human mind. somehow, he had taken to it gracefully, and only because the world had been presented to him when there were no memories. there's a part of him that remains inhuman.
it isn't much, but the darkness is comforting. it's quiet, loving and without judgment, joy or anger. there's nothing but silence and stillness. this, perhaps, is what death would be like. but it doesn't really seem to matter, because it's nice here in lifelessness. gentle, accepting, and enveloped in it.]
[there is a part of him that is struck with understanding the moment he sets his foot down.
he's been here before. he wasn't alone then, or was he? no, he wasn't; Dumbledore answered that question nicely the last weekend. but how was he here again? or even further, did it really matter at this point?]
[You are standing in front of a fireplace in what looks to be a large, old-fashioned kitchen. The fire is banked and radiating heat. A passage leads away from the kitchen--there might be sounds of people talking coming from that direction. Outside the kitchen is a yard with a vegetable patch and some dilapidated outbuildings. It is night--probably late evening.]
[ooc: warnings for running around a lot and violence.]
Corpses. They litter the hallways of this broken down hospital, all crumbling hallways and flickering lights- and closer inspection will reveal that they are somehow merged with the corridor, sewn or welded to floor, walls and roof. To your front, there is a corridor leading to a heavy iron gate. To your left a door with bright sunlight filtering in, and to your right a corridor with a completely overwhelming stench of rotten flesh.
But no matter which road you take, the dead seem to block your path. You won't be able to go anywhere without stepping over or on them... so choose wisely. And do ignore the voices coming over the inter-com...
