Whatever you'r doing is working then. I'm afraid it's going to be a little more difficult here though, but you shouldn't let that send you into a frumpy slump. Too many people here use "stuck in a zombie camp" as an excuse to give up on their appearance.

I know, image is everything afterall. A good number of people here just don't get it though. I think they've given up.

Ooh, this simply will not do. That does it; I am making it my personal mission to bring back a sense of style, taste, and all out fabulous to this camp. It needs it!

Makeovers. It's the only way. And remodeling. But makeovers first!

Trust me, that's an uphill battle. They resist as though a makeover were a death sentence.

If by "coaxing" you mean "following them and harrassing them about it until they give in out of sheer frustration", then yes. That usually works.
