[The mess hall is set up for a party today! A large banner is hanging that reads "HAPPY 701st BIRTHDAY, WALL-E". There's a cake sitting on one of the center tables, shaped sort of like a... pile of garbage. (Despite its looks, it tastes surprisingly good.)
The birthday robot in question is busily plucking candles from the top of the cake, looking at them in fascination before snuffing out the flames and dropping them into his cooler.]
