Bumping the guide to getting on IRC hereWith the whole counseling thing coming up, I was trying to remember what Peony knew about people and what special abilities or facets certain characters have. We all put up polls when we first get in with 'hey my dude can do X would this ping you', but they kind of get lost after a while, so for the benefit

Peony is your average emperor who kind of smells of rappig a lot of the time. If you're really attuned to magic you might pick up that he's kind-of-sort-of made of music, somewhat. It sounds a bit like earth and holy.

Araragi is not really very human at all, though he's not really a vampire either. An ex-vampire, he can sense oddities and peculiarities if they're of a sufficiently dark and supernatural bent; he can't see an animal god's form very well unless he concentrates, but he's perfect on curses and ghosts. His blood is some kind of A++ gourmet meal for vampires, which is pretty handy because it sends him into a kind of drugged up super-powered state rather than doing the usual vampire thing.

Aradia is a necromancer! She talks to the dead and can summon/control their spirits. She can also apparently cross over to the afterlife and chill out with dead people and help them move on like troll death of the endless. She also has time control powers: she can teleport across timelines, timelock people, etc. Also alien troll.

Aeris is dead! Also idk kind of shamanic special.

Amano is soulless! Can also see stains of negativity on your soul and stuff. Can remove souls or transport them if needed.

Aoba is tiny? Also secretly a vicious gang leader or whatever.

Mukuro has ties to reincarnation and is Buddhist-ish themed. Also an illusionist. And a terrible person.

Admiral ZEX has helped killed more people than you've ever even seen in your whole life. But his real passions right now are xenophilia and baking. ...I sort of feel like talking about ZEX in a poll like this is cheating, somehow.

Necoco can sort of bleed! His coolant is red, so when he cuts himself it actually looks like he's bleeding. Pretty weird for a robot.

Smellerbee is fifteen and tiny and could probably kill you if she wanted. BADASS FREEDOM FIGHTER. Also orphaned at a very young age.

Megamind grew up in a prison! Which he actually loved, because everyone was very nice to him, including his daddy figure, the warden. What really pushed him toward supervillainy was being teased at school for being different.

Ryoutarou is a Singularity Point. He can exist outside of time and he can travel through it, to the past and future, without at all effecting its flow. It also gives him a memory bonus. In addition to that, he has absolutely no sense and no luck at all. So he is a faildurp time traveler.

Gon is eight, going on twenty-eight. She spends her time babysitting an adult man.

Balthier is a pirate. A SKY pirate. He has tight pants.

Kaoru is a samurai princess. Also, a power ranger. She was born with the ability to create (mostly flame-related) things from simple words.

Goku is an alien from another world. He is also the greatest martial artist in the universe (almost). His heart is ABSOLUTELY PURE! Not a whisper of evil or, uh, thought. He loves eating, fighting, eating, training, and being dumb. To be fair, it is not entirely his fault that he is dumb. When he was a baby, his grandpa dropped him over a cliff and Goku landed on his head.
