Vampire Event Schedule~

Sep 27, 2010 21:06

I'm using this post for three things.

First, I am pimping my participation questionnaire for both victims and vampires. Also, if the victims could add to their poll answers whether they're ok with dying (if you haven't already), that might be good. Just in case.

Second, I am opening this post for Intervention Volunteers. Ye brave souls who take ( Read more... )

Volunteering~

Reimu is a shrine maiden, and comes with all the bonuses you might expect from one. Divine power/protection, power of the Shinto Gods, etc. Her most pronounced ability is the power to fly. She can shoot a number of projectiles: Homing Amulets, which have little power but can home in on targets, and Persuasion Needles, which have more power and speed, but can't home. Reimu can shoot large quantities of either of these at once, and she has a nigh infinite amount. She also has a number of Spell Cards which are more useful and can deal greater damage. Her physical abilities aren't too bad, and she can give even vampires a run for their money. She's also capable of a number of gamebreaking abilities, and can violate the laws of physics at will. Warping from one place to another in an instant and even rendering herself completely invulnerable by floating away from reality are pretty easy tasks for her ( ... )

Minato is a Persona User, and has a wide array of powers at his disposal. GENERALLY, this means that he can utilize any of seven elements (Fire, Ice, Lightning, Wind, Light, Darkness, Almighty) or three physicals (Slash, Pierce, Strike). At any given moment, he can be strong against, weak against, immune to, deflect or absorb any of those ten traits. As an RPG character, he can also use a number of buffs/debuffs/status spells. His Personas also give him a number physical boosts, and generally, the stronger the Persona, the greater his physical ability will be.

As a Jesus, Minato has more negotiation ability than Reimu, but if he sees someone in immediate danger, he won't hesitate to punch out a vampire. He'll try to reason, but if that fails, then he won't hold back. Pretty much an all-around type.

Volunteering:

Emma Frost who has advanced powers of telepathy and can turn into a diamond substance entirely. Only one power can be used at a time.

Mako Shiraishi can turn into a power ranger, with a sword, giant robot, and magical fan weapon. She also has a cell phone she can use to write symbols and summon things into existence.

Volunteer:

Rick O'Connell for intervention, he's good at shooting things. While he probably wouldn't kill a vampire with it, it could be enough of a distraction to help someone escape. Plus he's brave enough to do that fff.

Volunteering for intervention: Eddie Riggs is TOTALLY FOR fighting all manner of the evil (or in this case crazy) undead. He has a magically enchanted guitar from the metal gods that shoots lightning and fire, a holy metal battleaxe, and summons a hotrod with machineguns and flamethrowers.

Also he rocks out, if any vamps are weak to that.

He's not very good at negotiation. Ass-kicking, yes. Negotiation, no.

Also available is Cynthia, who has Pokemon that might be able to help? :|b Specifically her evil ghost Spiritomb and giant land shark Garchomp?

Intervention volunteer 1: Kyle Katarn. Kyle is a Jedi Master who can resolve disputes via guns or getting in someone's grill with a laser sword. He could also just Force Speed in, grab the potential victim, and whisk them away. A versatile choice for your choosey victim. |D

Intervention volunteer 2: Jaina Proudmoore is a video game boss with a wide variety of spells ranging from fire and ice to simply teleporting people away. It is a canon tactic for her to, in fact, simply teleport the attacker out of the fight. A good one to go to for a non-lethal intervention.
