PLOT GAUGING
I am gauging interest for an ongoing but lesser October plot. Commenting in Sam's post the other night reminded me how much I loved the "VAMPIRES GO CRAZY" plot we had several years back. I think it might be fun to bring back since we have so many at camp. The basic premise is that whatever camp vampires uses to stave off their blood lust will become less effective throughout the month (pills, animal blood, ect...). This also applies to vampires that normally drink blood but can apply restraint. Restraint will become next to impossible, as thirst intensifies. Then, something simple like fresh blood or maybe just days of starvation can take over on a post or two. Or idk they could just go nuts in individual daily threading. Of course, opting out would still be possible, with explanations like camp not being able to affect your vampire or whatevs. Maybe you're just special. But I think it would work the best if a good chunk of the vampires were involved.
Whether the actual GO CRAZY part is limited to one post or something that comes up throughout the month is one of the things I'm interested in discussion on. I lean toward ongoing with maybe one post to serve as a catalyst for those who really want to play BLOOD-CRAZY but can't find any suitable opportunities. Naturally, everything would function again as normal after Halloween. How the vampires handle the situation (telling the public what's going on?) and public response would be up to the players. As will whether your vampire resorts to crazed hunting or simply snaps mid-thread. Also, it's perfectly fine to just have your vampire bite someone's finger or something but not go to town on their blood if you don't want super violence. Me, I like super violence.
