HEROES WEEKEND?
Do you love camp events? I love camp events. And so, I thought it'd be fun to use my terrible canon for one.
SO. In Heroes there was an ECLIPSE, and the ECLIPSE took people's powers away. Incidentally, an eclipse also apparently GAVE people powers. So I was thinking about having a weekend in which an eclipse happens and people with powers lose them, and people without powers gain some!
STUFF WOULD GO AS FOLLOWS, IF LIKED:
Friday: ECLIPSE POST GOES UP! Oh noes I lost/gained powers.
Saturday: People go nuts! I don't think a post would have to go up, as it'd be a camp-wide thing.
Sunday night: ECLIPSE ENDS. Everyone is back to normal. Onigiri can't see through clothes anymore.
IMPORTANT STUFF
OBVIOUSLY THIS IS COMPLETELY VOLUNTARY. If you don't want to lose your abilities, you don't. If you don't want to GET new abilities you don't.
NO ONE HAS TO DO ANYTHING THEY DON'T WANT TO DO. I realize pre-emptively that this event would be hard to ignore, so I encourage those who don't want to participate to make NO ECLIPSE EFFECTS HERE posts.
If you want to play with it longer but don't have time, dating back posts and doing journal stuff is an always okay.
WHAT KIND OF POWERS DO I GET?
Whatever you want! Heroes tries to give people powers that go with their personality, but hell if your character has always wanted the ability to genderswitch at will and you want to have fun with that, go for it!
Here is the list of abilities we see in Heroes, but if you want crack, go for crack. Also, remember to talk to other players before stripping their characters with your mind. Communication is important!
