You Don't Say.

According to my Franklin Covey daily planner, this is the quote by which I should live Wednesday, February 1:

"Life is too short and too wonderful to waste time doing things you really don't want to be doing."
--Bruce IsaacsHmm. This sounds like good advice, but suppose life itself is the thing you don't want to be doing? What then, Bruce Isaacs ( Read more... )

I highly disagree with Mr Issacs. Most of the things that I do are things that arent #1 on my list of most desirable activities. For example I'd much rather be a draftsperson than "funds manager" and I'd much rather shop than draft and I'd rather have a personal shopper than actually shop. But here I am, funds managering away. I suggest:

Life in this system is too short and tiring to waist time before learning that one must do what one has to do in order to make it to the real life

what then Brucie? (did I really just type "what then"?)

not only did you just type what then, you typed Brucie. :)

yes! life is short-- but there is better things ahead, eternal things, and that's what really matters most.

Heehee, you so sassy :p

Yeah, those stomach probs are never fun. I had them for a week after I got back from Cuba. But after a few 'tsunamis' I now feel better.

Hope you feel better soon!

was it something you ate there? Eeeh. Or was it girlfriend related stress? you know who is enough to give anyone an ulcer.

Mr. Isaacs I've got a mortgage, car payments, and assorted bills along with the fact that gas is over $2.49 a gallon as much as I'd love to not be here at work and go teach chimpazees to paint or something...it's just life. hippie.

I'm sorry to hear about your stomach. It's a bummer. Wouldn't your stomach rather be doing something else? ;)
