Cameron was by nature a morning person. While being up late tended to negate that, there still was the whole timezone issue to consider. Which meant that he could easily sneak out of bed, go for a run and return in time to have Veronica wake up

Veronica was by nature a morning person, too. If, by morning person, you meant someone who could function in the morning after a couple cups of coffee.

So when Cameron nudged her, she swatted at him. "Too early," she mumbled.

Cameron snickered and caught her hand. "No, it's not," he whispered, leaning in to kiss her awake.

"Mmmmm," she hummed in response to the kiss. "Coffee?"

"We can buy you some while we're out," he replied, tugging the sheets down.
