I am getting so sick of this no Gwen business. I mean, she wasn't even in yesterday's episode, they haven't dealt with the fact that Arthur IS KING NOW, and the writing just doesn't make sense to me. Where is the scene between Arthur and Gwen, now that he is king? And don't tell me that the king still goes on those adventures trips? What if he gets hurt or something, what happens to the throne?

Seriously guys, help!! I'm starting to prefer reading fanfiction over watching the show. I am starting not to like the show anymore!

It's just, it's a let down. They don't deal with the fact that Arthur has become a king at all? I bet they are going to deal with it in the next episode or something. What is with the filler episodes that don't make sense as a part of the story?

At least I am not the only one.

TBA they could have made 4x04 a pre-Uther's death episode and it wouldn't have made any difference to the story. Seeing also I feel they killed Uther too quickly, I think his death would have had more impact if 4x03 and 4x4 were switched.

Apart from everyone calling Arthur the king now, 4x04 was very much 'business as usual'. I have no problem with Arthur going on quests with the knights as Arthur is clearly going to be a more hands-on king, which was common in Arthurian legend before the Normans got their hands on it. But its just the fact that Arthur becoming king has no real impact.

As much as I wish it would be Gwen, I'm almost certain that it'll be Gaius. I've been hearing rumors that the next episode is pretty Gwen-lite as well which is a fail in my books

It's like where are all these gwen storylines JC promised. Last ep sucked without Gwen! We better get at least one gwen scene next week cos it's about Arthur dealing with Kingly pressures and Gwen is usually the best at the pep talks!

It's two weeks till the half season mark, and so far Gwen has had all of maybe 4 scenes and none of which expand her character.

I am shocked that the production staff flat out lied in all those interviews about this series being "Gwen's turn." Oh wait, no I'm not.

Between Angel's near complete disappearance in the show's promotion and Gwen's post production disappearances, I starting to get suspicious and unhappy. What the hell is going on? We all know we'll be lucky to see Gwen participate in ANYTHING in the next episode. Two back to back Gwen-free episodes, yeah I wouldn't put it past them either.
