They describe Gwaine as a Hans Solo. Murphy has annoyed me with certain things he said in the past, but he wins the universe for that comparison. LOVE Hans Solo.

Thanks for posting.

He annoyed me with his post...Arthur’s future queen - well, potentially - <---that well potentially sort of pisses me off.

IDK about this. I think I'm with you in sentiment, but I am really hoping to see a bit of triangle in today's episode...I want to see a jealous, slightly on edge Arthur when Lancelot shows up and I think once again saves Gwen...this time I think he'll be successful and deliver her to Arthur though. Not much longer now of a wait.

Huh....I don't think so. I don't want a triangle---because I felt this show was far above that. This show is not about that. And I don't want emotional games----that kind of story line weakens and threatens Guin's character and I'm not about that. This is why I hate the Lancelot storyline the French produced. It demoralizes women and they hated women. To bring that story into this story is a problem. A major problem---that will disgust me.

And anyway the original story of the kidnapping, it was Arthur who saved Guinevere...the stupid frenchie writers of old---in order to explain away her "whoring"....I don't need her adultery to be legitimized---because even her adultery is false.

"And in Gwen’s case, now that she has a real status of being Arthur’s future queen - well, potentially - and her role a growing and increasingly important one, I think you can see what Angel really can do as an actress.”

Gwen's role "a growing and increasingly an important one."

Can we hope to see more Gwen on screen in the 4th series?

I think he's just trying to keep up a bit me mystique. It seems like a bit of am added comment trying to make it seem like it might not happen still even though we know it will.

I agree with mydoctortennant. It was an added comment...

Also; I like that Murphy doesn't want to pander to the Slashers. Thank you for saying JM! I love you lots.

I appreciate that comment too. Guess I've seen one too many comments in other communities bemoaning the lack of A/M stuff this series.

Some nice comments from JM. Such as realizing the girls were under utilized in series one and two recognizing the awesomeness that is Angel Colby's Gwen. And in the full interview he talks about possibly trying to get the girls a little sword action if they could make it believable. Which would be wonderful if they actually did it.

What's "slash"? I feel horribly ignorant right now.

Oh! I don't see anything besides buddy-love between Merlin and Arthur. Even brotherly-love. But maybe I don't notice these things.

And honestly, maybe it's the geek in me, but the title "Coming of Arthur" only made me think of Tennyson and nothing else. Don't get me wrong, I can be 12 years old most of the time and my mind has known to be in the gutter a few times, but I guess I just didn't catch on until someone mentioned it on some forum.

Thanks for explaining! :)
