They describe Gwaine as a Hans Solo. Murphy has annoyed me with certain things he said in the past, but he wins the universe for that comparison. LOVE Hans Solo.
IDK about this. I think I'm with you in sentiment, but I am really hoping to see a bit of triangle in today's episode...I want to see a jealous, slightly on edge Arthur when Lancelot shows up and I think once again saves Gwen...this time I think he'll be successful and deliver her to Arthur though. Not much longer now of a wait.
Huh....I don't think so. I don't want a triangle---because I felt this show was far above that. This show is not about that. And I don't want emotional games----that kind of story line weakens and threatens Guin's character and I'm not about that. This is why I hate the Lancelot storyline the French produced. It demoralizes women and they hated women. To bring that story into this story is a problem. A major problem---that will disgust me.
And anyway the original story of the kidnapping, it was Arthur who saved Guinevere...the stupid frenchie writers of old---in order to explain away her "whoring"....I don't need her adultery to be legitimized---because even her adultery is false.
I don't think they'll take it that far because this Gwen (I believe) would never do that and I think they made a point of making her that way.
I do think that there's needs to be some kind of closure on it though before the end of the series or it's just going to keep coming up.
I do think that this Gwen would have a moment with Lancelot where she tells him about her now real relationship with Arthur. It seems like the thing for her to do.
Also I really really want to and think we'll see Arthur let everyone know where he stands. At least that what I'm guessing from the spoiler vid/pic where they kiss in front of everyone in the courtyard.
I think the story is leaning on closure and I'd think that when Guin kisses Arthur in front of his people and Lancelot this episode---that closure was met. Guin loves Arthur end of story. I want Guin's character to grow and have a role, but I don't want it through her dependence on men which is what that other storyline creates.
I don't think that in actuality Guin needs to explain anything or tell Lancelot anything. He stepped back and walked out on her because he was too much of a coward to even speak to her. And now she owes him some sort o explanation. To me Lancelot rejected her and she moved on and that's the end. She makes her decision at the end of the episode.
I think Arthur has told us where he stands more often than not. The only one who has yet to say something verbally is Guin. Arthur's been stating his love for Guin since the beginning of this season.
Yeah...we know how he feels. I meant Camelot. I think Uther's going to accept their relationship.
If there isn't a scene between Lancelot and Gwen now...I really think that means the Producers plan for a longggggggg triangle in S4 that's why I'd prefer it happen now.
Oh I don't know about that. I think next season will be Uther reevaluating his relationship if anything else with his people and magic and with his son. But I don't know about accepting Guin. I think that's pushing it
( ... )
I hope you're right but the JJ's always get excited about the slow tease. I only think that Uther because if Morgana leaves Camelot, they'll need to do something with Gwen.
It think it's a good way to get her into the castle for good. Or I'm hoping. :D
Thanks for posting.
