I just realized I never wrote one and was kind of surprised. I thought it was a universal rule--apparently, I was wrong, but coffeeshop!AUs are fun, I'll admit, I see why everyone writes them, now.

Squinty!Merlin is solely based on the fact that I CAN see without glasses, but if I stand too far away from anything I can't freaking read it. Or see them, for that matter. Though I can make pictures form better than Merlin can. Arthur is just because I felt like having him be a suave bastard at first who's just a liiiitle nervous.

I'm sO sorry I've had a terrible naming scheme for like, my last three drabbles. I actually dislike half of the titles I come up with but use them because I'm either pressed for time or just too tired to think of another one. I was in a rush to post this last night and I was really tired, so I found a quote that seemed like it could work, slapped it in the title, and ran. BUT I'M SORRY FOR GETTING YOUR HOPES UP FOR SOMETHING THAT DIDN'T EXIST--

Been there, done that indeed! The amount of times I've been like Merlin, trying to see by use of squinting without my glasses on is ridiculous. (I can see without my glasses, but only at short distances, quite like Merlin, 's actually what I based it on.)

Regarding the broken glasses and blurry vision I've been in Merlin's shoes a time or two. Ugh, that sucks. Good thing there was a gorgeous prat to make his day just a bit better ;)

Wouldn't mind (in any way) seeing more of this verse!
