Humm. That was really brilliant and intense and guh! I've never read a fic where the Merlin/Gwen dynamics are so negative, and I love their friendship so much that it was pretty painful to read. I hope they manage to find a balance that lets them still be close, even after all of this.

tbh, she just needs to run away with Morgana, then none of this would be a problem *nods*

She does need to run away with Morgana! They'd both be better off.

As for finding a balance with Merlin after this? I don't know if Gwen ever could. She's lovely but she's a bit shallow. I don't know if she could truly understand what's driving Arthur & Merlin here so it will be hard for her to ever come to terms with it. I'd hope for her sake she could but I have a feeling she wouldn't.
