Ok, trying to be better about feedback... Um, I read this because it's you even though mpreg squicks me. It left me feeling very uncomfortable and sad:( I don't like to see Merlin and Gwen like this. I think you did a good job with it.

Aww, thank you for putting aside your squicks and reading this anyway. The mpreg isn't very graphic (how graphic can you get in under 1k?) but yeah, the Gwen/Merlin thing is painful. I'm sorry I made you uncomfortable and sad. I was feeling angsty but I didn't mean to upset anyone.

Hey, it just means that you did a good job with it, which is why I tend not to read angsty fics:D I can come up with enough to stress about on my own. The good news is, it wasn't lasting discomfort. I'm happy to see you trying these shorter pieces. It's a good stretch, eh?

Whew! I'm glad to hear the discomfort didn't linger :-)

It is a good stretch and it's not as bad as I thought it would be. I guess not feeling pressured to fit porn into such a tight word count makes it a lot better!

Thank you! I know, I was feeling angsty but then again, jealousy is rarely a positive emotion. I'd say "poor Gwen" here but I feel bad for both of them.

I think I'm more inclined to feel sorry for Merlin... but then my positive feelings towards Gwen have all but disappeared since she sent Lance to his death...

I can't claim to be much of a Gwen fan (honestly, I kind of loathe her) but I can still feel sympathy for her in the position I placed her in in this particular fic. She's stuck with a husband she can't leave (treason!) who's not only in love with someone else but that someone is having her husband's baby...when she can't. Add to that the lover is someone she regarded as a friend...yeah, I have some sympathy for that.

(Though there is part of me that sees it as just desserts but we don't have to look at my ugly side, do we? ;-)
