I am a huge Merthur shipper and rarely like the boys with anyone else but that episode with Freya made me rethink that. I think Merlin and Freya were perfect together and I was so sad to see them part. This story is so full of that heartfelt angst that Merlin felt for the girl he loved but couldn't help. Thinking that someone else might have helped her must have been hurtful to him and he would see the druids in a new light because of that. Great job on this story and prompt!! <3

Is sad. I liked the insight to Merlin's mind though. Makes you want him to find someone to make him happy again *hugs Merlin*
