Britpick Resource Post: Ranting

Ranting

It's been a while since I did a Britpick resource post, for which I apologise. Real life caught up with me, as it is wont to do. Anyway, for what it is worth, here is a Britpick resource post that explores the dark, hairy, pimply underbelly of British peevishness: the comedy rant.

Read on, Macduff... )

britpick advice, rambling, rant, charlie brooker is my hero, overuse of adjectives, random musing

And now I would love to see a Trading Spaces / changing Rooms UK/US based fic with Merlin characters divided by their common language.

I will definitely enjoy this.

But Leon is right. The country is going to pot!

*laughing* That is so funny. (Although I sort of fear the result of any North American who attempts to apply your guidance *g*)
A brilliant explanation and description. Congratulations.

Thank you so much,I think there are amply gifted North Americans who can easily create a rant, or make us Brits laugh at ourselves, which is another thing we love to do.

Maybe I should create an AUTORANT app for this purpose!

Yes!!! I want the autorant app now!!! So much more effective than these bland boilerplate things I keep sending my senator. Maybe my favorite cause will even bump up a quartile in it's percent chance of being adopted. (I checked; it's currently approximately zero. I would say "why oh why oh why oh" except that in my vernacular that phrase is always followed by "did I ever leave ohio?")

I will add the autorant app to my list of projects. It's more appealing than a lot of them, to be honest.

You're being too kind! But yes, Skegness, a holiday resort? Whatever possessed people? LOL.
