New Lovely, everyone!!! I need an outside opinion to know if he's not actually a Pretty in disguise. I think my mind may be healing itself; he's only 20 years old (a personal record for me). Google Novak Djokovic and respond Lovely, Adorable, or Pretty.

Hmm. Well, I wouldn't put him in full-on Lovely territory, because think what company he'd have, but I don't think he's quite a Pretty either. So I guess I'm going to have to say Adorable.

I'm very, very glad that he's 20. Honey, that's great! I'd say he's not at Pretty level, but he's not so bad as a Lovely. But I'm not willing to call him adorable, either. I'd say he's unattractive, but the best of the Lovelies so far.

Adorable - note the capital, though of course you can't tell there - doesn't have quite its normal connotation here; think somewhere in between "Pretty" and "oh god my eyes."

How aptly you define Lovely! I just had to laugh at that. I'll use that to explain to my new chickadees: oh god my eyes.
