From their actual websites...

Doing research for work, I am looking at various candidates economic stimulus plans.  Now, I freely admit, I don't really understand the economy.  I got a D in economics.  But just take a look at the plans as laid out by their own websites (literally cut and pasted, I have not paraphrased at all):

Hillary:
  • Establish a $30 Billion Emergency Housing ( Read more... )

Well DAMN! My brain feels as if it's going to collapse under the weight of all the information. Didn't anyone ever tell this dude that less is more.?

Even better, his little campaign tagline is "Faith. Family. Freedom." The man apparently likes words that begin with "F". Coincidentally, listening to him inspires me to use a particular "F" word.

McCain has a fairly detailed economic stimulus plan. He also provides sources to support his reasoning. Now I still question whether or not he is using his sources as he ought to, but I appreciate that he is not trying to bullshit me with just pretty words. I firmly believe the sole reason why Huckabee is winning states is because of Chuck Norris.

I'm more or less never fair to the Republicans, but yes, McCain does have a fairly comprehensive plan, at least from what I could find on his website. IMO, it relies a little too heavily on tax cuts, but it does show he actually has specific ideas on it. That's really why I didn't include him. Now Huckabee, even when he tries to elaborate on his plan, comes out with bullshit like "America must always be the Arsenal of Democracy."

To tell you the truth, I have never actually heard Huckabee speak. All I know about is from what I read in the NY Times. Though if I were a Democrat(before you label me an evil child-eating Republican let me explain that I am not allowed to vote as the US is not so friendly to immigrants, even the lifelong ones) I would be rooting for Huckabee. There's no way Huckabee takes the Whitehouse.

Only US Citizens can vote, yes? Is that unusual? I would have thought it to be pretty standard, but having been born here, I'm actually totally ignorant of such things. In any case, I agree, I entirely hope Huckabee gets the nomination, he's far less electable.
