I think people underestimate the damage that an abusive boss can cause. It can be every bit as bad as a lover or parent. Being stolen from and gaslit by your boss is abuse, and coping by becoming an asshole is not ideal but it's understandable.

I'm sorry you are dealing with so much loss all at once. I hope that good new things come in to your life and fill up your thoughts to help you move on more easily.
